These New South Whales have released a new single.
Fuelled by heavy guitars and driving drums, Big Machine blends raw punk energy with a stadium‑rock sound and serves as the latest preview of the Melbourne quartet's new album, 'Godspeed', due out on November 28.
Commenting on the track, vocalist Jamie Timony said: "Sometimes you gotta go big. This is one of those times."
The punk band previously teased the follow-up to 2022's 'TNSW' with the earlier singles Miss Her, the title track and Instinct.
They'll also celebrate 500 episodes of their cult podcast, What A Great Punk, with live shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne later this month, coinciding with the release of the album. Head here for details.
They said: "Well, as famous rocker Julian Casablancas once said, 'IS THIS IT?' In this case, I must confess… it is. It is it: It’s the WHAT A GREAT PUNK—500th episode—Season 1 Finale celebration tour. That’s right, gang. For now, it’s goodbye to our beloved podcast. It’s been a wild and wonderful ride, but only two things are true in life: All good things must come to an end, and you gotta pay your taxes."

5. Big Machine
