Ice Spice has shared a new song, Big Guy.
The drill-pop rap track was written and recorded for the upcoming animated sequel, The SpongeBob Movie: Search For SquarePants, in which the Grammy-nominated Bronx rapper lends her voice to one of the characters, marking her first-ever voice cameo.
A video for the is set to follow later today, while the film will hit cinemas on December 19. Ice Spice said in a statement:
"Being part of the SpongeBob soundtrack is such a full circle moment for me. It’s crazy to see my music in a movie that’s been part of so many people’s childhoods, including mine."
Big Guy follows Ice Spice's recent tracks Pretty Privilege and Baddie Baddie. She also teamed up with Atlanta's Latto on Gyatt in September for her first major release since the deluxe edition of her 2024 debut album 'Y2K!', though she featured on a remix of Katseye's track Gnarly back in the summer.
She also recently marked her big screen debut in Spike Lee's Highest 2 Lowest, appearing with Denzel Washington and A$AP Rocky.
