Charli XCX Releases New Song Chains Of Love From Upcoming Album For Wuthering Heights Film

Charli XCX has shared a new song titled Chains Of Love.
The haunting synth-pop track serves as the latest preview of the Grammy, BRIT and Ivor Novello-Award winner's newly announced album written for Emerald Fennell's upcoming adaptation of Emily Brontë’s classic novel Wuthering Heights.
The singer first teased the project earlier this week alongside the release of House, a collaboration with The Velvet Underground icon John Cale. She's now taken to social media to confirm the album's release for February 13, with the film, starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi as Catherine and Heathcliff, set to screen in UK cinemas on February 11 and the US on February 13. Last year, Charli dropped her sixth album, 'Brat', followed by the deluxe version, 'Brat And It's the Same But There's Three More Songs So It's Not', and later a star-studded remix edition, 'Brat And It’s Completely Different But Also Still Brat'.
Since her 'Brat' era, she has been working on a number of other film projects and will star in the upcoming A24 film The Moment, based on her original idea, due out next year.
