Richard Ashcroft has added a Sheffield show to his summer tour plans.
As part of the Rock N Roll Circus concert series, the former Verve frontman will perform at the Don Valley Bowl on August 30, with support from The Fratellis and Cast.
Rock N Roll Circus will take over sites in both Norwich and Sheffield next summer, with The Streets also set to top the bill in Sheffield. The Streets, The Kooks and Madness will also headline at Norwich's Earlham Park. Tickets are on sale now.
Two-time Ivor Novello winner Ashcroft will play several other major outdoor shows in the summer, including Scarborough Open Air Theatre, Westonbirt Arboretum for Forest Live, Cardiff Castle for Depot Live, the Colchester Castle Summer Series, Berkshire's Englefield Estate for Heritage Live, Live At Ludlow Castle in Shropshire, and London's Alexandra Palace Park.
He released his new album, 'Lovin' You', in October, which he'll support with a UK and Ireland tour in the spring. He'll also headline next year's Neighbourhood Weekender in Warrington, Glasgow's TRNSMT festival and Portsmouth's Victorious Festival.
Tickets for his new Sheffield show go on general sale at 9am on Friday (December 5). All other dates are on sale now.
