Nick Jonas Teases 'Sunday Best' With New Single Gut Punch

Nick Jonas has shared a new single from his upcoming solo album.
Gut Punch opens with introspective lyrics of self-doubt over sparse piano, and marks the first preview of 'Sunday Best', due out on February 6 via Republic Records. He said:
"I tend to be hyper critical of myself, not typically about my appearance or getting older, but I was wondering, ‘Am I doing everything to be the best version of myself? Am I a present and thoughtful husband? Am I a good father?’ As time goes by, the stress and complications of life will weigh on you. It’s important to remember there was once a version of you who was carefree and loved the world."
One third of the Jonas Brothers, Nick first premiered the emotive pop ballad in November in Las Vegas while on tour with his siblings.
The new record serves as the Golden Globe and Grammy-nominated artist's first solo project in nearly five years, following 2021's 'Spaceman'.
His brother Kevin's debut solo single, Changing, dropped in November, though there's no news of a solo album.
Joe Jonas, meanwhile, put out his second solo LP, 'Music For People Who Believe In Love', in May through Republic Records.
The Jonas Brothers wrapped up the 2025 North American leg of their JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour at Barclays Center in Brooklyn before Christmas.
