Margaret Glaspy has announced the follow-up to 2025's 'The Golden Heart Protector' and 2023's 'Echo The Diamond'.

'I Am Both' will arrive via ATO on August 7 and was produced by three-time Grammy Award-winner Joe Henry. The New York-based singer-songwriter wrote the record with a newfound clarity after quitting social media.

The first taster of the album comes in the form of new single Michigan, a country-folk track led by finger-picked acoustic guitar and Glaspy's captivating storytelling vocals that arrives with a live video directed by Ricky Chavez. Introducing the song, she said:

“I was in Michigan a couple years back and had a really beautiful time, and thought about how New Yorkers sometimes fantasize about the countryside as a retreat from the intensity of the city. It turned into a song about someone going through a bad breakup, and then deciding to just leave the city behind.”

Glaspy will support 'I Am Both' with a UK and Ireland tour this October, tickets for which go on sale at 10am on Friday (June 5).
