Alex Warren Announces Sophomore Album 'WILDCHILD' With New Single PASSENGER

Alex Warren has announced his sophomore album.
The Grammy and BRIT-nominated California pop artist will release 'WILDCHILD' through Atlantic Records on August 28, following his 2025 debut LP 'You’ll Be Alright, Kid', which served as a continuation of his 2024 EP ’You’ll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1)’.
Exploring loss, grief and life after it, the record sees Warren highlighting joyful and heartbreaking moments that feel both personal and relatable, as he adjusts to change while holding onto his father's lessons and memories. He said:
"Growing up, my dad used to call me Wildchild so it’s always had a special meaning and I even have it tattooed on me. Creating this album was really healing, therapeutic and a way for me to continue finding out more about myself. This album really shows where I am in my life today and compared to my first album which feels like a man who is broken, this one is a man who's trying to heal. It’s been really nice to be able to confront those feelings and also be able to share them with the world to give everyone a transparent view into my life."
Alongside the announcement, the singer-songwriter has shared the new single PASSENGER, an upbeat track that looks set to be a summer hit, written by Warren and produced by Adam Yaron. Head below to view the song's equally rousing video, directed by Blythe Thomas.
The album will also include Warren's earlier singles Fine Place To Die and Fever Dream, though the full tracklist is still to be shared.
The announcement comes amid the North American leg of his Finding Family On The Road World Tour, which continues with a performance in Phoenix, Arizona, tonight (June 5), with dates continuing through to mid-July, followed by shows in Japan, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand later this year.
