A previously unreleased song by The Fall has been shared.
Built on a slow and heavy bass-driven groove, 30 Degrees delivers late frontman Mark E. Smith's unmistakable snarling vocals over layered guitars and synths. It'll appear on the legendary post-punk band's forthcoming posthumous album, 'Post Script', which Smith co-wrote with bandmates Simon Archer and Ed Blaney before he died in 2018.
Described by Blaney as the band's final album, it was announced by the former band member and manager last month, who took to social media to reveal that it's due to arrive in mid-September and will feature nine songs, though full details are still under wraps. He shared:
"Have spent most the afternoon today listening to the final mixes of the official final studio album by The Fall , without any doubt I can say it’s an absolute brilliant album. A Fall fans dream and some … & for all the eager Fall fans awaiting the news, its release date and order details are imminent. The album is called “ Post Script “ with 9 absolute bangers …"
The Fall's last official studio album is 2017's 'New Facts Emerge', which dropped a few months before Smith died from lung and kidney cancer. Since then, mulitple live records have been released, alongside several compilation albums.

2. So Long
