Dog Unit Announce Second Album 'Runners', Share Three New Singles

Dog Unit have announced their second album, along with plans for a headline UK tour.
The London instrumental rock four-piece will release 'Runners' through Brace Yourself Records on October 30, following their debut 'At Home', which quickly became a cult favourite, and the 'At Home, Still' EP, both released in 2024.
The album is designed to be taken in as one big, sweeping body of work, but for a taste of what to expect, the band have shared three excerpts in the form of Tiny Diversions, Everybody Has A Favourite Pin and The Knowledge.
The first track arrives with a video and bridges the gap between old and new, pairing the group's tight rhythms with strings and synths, while the second is a groove-driven offering that shifts from disco-tinged indie and jazz to pumping basslines and space-rock. The final preview is a more straightforward pop song.
The boiler-suited band will tour the UK in February, kicking off with a special London headline show at the ICA before stops in Brighton, Norwich, Ramsgate, Oxford, Manchester, Edinburgh and Bristol. Before hitting the road, they'll take over the DJ booth at The Wood Street Bear in Walthamstow on October 29 for a listening party, spinning the influences behind the new record. Since their debut and the subsequent EP, the band also performed a live session released as 'The state51 Factory Sessions: Dog Unit (Live)' in 2024.
