Field Day is an annual music festival held in Victoria Park, London.
Founded by Eat Your Own Ears’ Tom Baker and Marcus Weedon, the festival’s style is to combine a diverse selection of brilliant music with a big village fete, including tug of wars, egg and spoons races, and sack races.
Originally the festival began as a one-day event in August, over the years it has moved date and grown to two days, with performances from the likes of Caribou, Patti Smith, tUnE-yArDs, PJ Harvey, James Blake, Skepta, Aphex Twin and John Grant.
Erykah Badu, Thundercat and Fever Ray are among the first acts confirmed for 2018's Field Day festival. This year, the festival will relocate from East London’s Victoria Park to South London’s Brockwell Park, and will expand to a two date event, taking place on June 1 and 2.
