Gotthard tour dates and tickets

Gotthard is a Swiss hard rock and heavy metal outfit hailing from Lugano. Formed in 1992, the band consists of Leo Leoni, Freddy Scherer, Marc Lynn, Hena Habegger, and Nic Maeder, the vocalist who stepped in to replace late frontman Steve Lee, who tragically died in a motorcycle accident back in 2010.

One of Switzerland's all-time best bands, having seen all of their eleven studio albums reach #1 in the charts, Gotthard continue to deliver their distinct brand of hard rock music to the world. Their most recent effort, 'Bang!', hit shelves in 2014 - catch them live in London in October 2015, or at Rockingham Festival the following day.

Gotthard tickets Fri 27th Jan 2017
It has been 25 years since these Swiss hard rockers formed, but although named to commemorate that anniversary, ‘Silver’ unwittingly denotes how their once gold-standard sound has become decidedly second rate since the tragic death of frontman Steve Lee in 2010. This is the band’s third album without him and it’s sad to say, with each release, his loss feels increasingly insurmountable.
