Grace Petrie is a folk singer-songwriter and musician from Leicester.
Starting her musical career in 2006, she released her self-titled debut album the same year. Her second album, ‘Feel Better’, came out in 2007, which was followed by ‘Tell Me A Story’ in 2010, ‘Mark My Words’ in 2011, ‘Love is My Rebellion’ in 2013 and ‘Whatever's Left’ in 2015. She put out her sixth studio LP, ‘Heart First Aid Kit’, in 2017 and her seventh, 'Queer As Folk', in 2018. She has headlined her own shows and tours across the UK, and has supported the likes of Josie Long, Emmy the Great, Billy Bragg and Robin Ince. Grace Petrie has rescheduled her UK tour dates to spring and autumn 2021 in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
