Known for their psychedelic blend of reggae, country, folk, blues, and jazz with rock, Grateful Dead would go on to build a legacy that has survived 50 years, selling 35million records and earning them a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along the way. Over their career, Grateful Dead would put out a massive plethora of music, ranging from their albums - a few of which earned platinum and multi-platinum certification - their compilations (including their 3x platinum 'Skeletons from the Closet: The Best of Grateful Dead'), live records, box sets, and all their other collections. Considered one of the pioneering jam bands, Weird, Lesh, Kreutzmann, and Hart will return in 2015 to celebrate their half-century anniversary with three gigs in Chicago, 20 years after split.
