Bennett met Gaga in 2011, when she performed Nat King Cole's Orange Coloured Sky at the Robin Hood Foundation Gala. Consequently, that same year she provided vocals to a duet—The Lady is a Tramp—on Bennett's album Duets II, and expressed her desire to record an entire jazz record. 'Cheek to Cheek' was born, and the pair performed songs from the album together in venues and jazz festivals across the world. Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett have announced that they will reunite for two final performances at New York's Radio City Music Hall in August 2021.
