Ladyhawke, real name Phillipa Brown, is a New Zealand singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Masterton.

Starting her music career in 2001, as a member of Two Lane Blacktop and later Teenager, she released her debut self-titled solo album in 2008. It hit #16 in the UK Albums Chart, and led to her winning two ARIA Awards. She released her second album, ‘Anxiety’ in 2012. Her latest album, 'Wild Things', came out in June 2016 via Polyvinyl.
