MOXIE are a distinctive acoustic band from the West coast of Ireland, whose music is traditionally Irish with progressive, world, and jazz influences. The band consists of Cillian Doheny (tenor banjo/guitar), Jos Kelly (button accordion/keyboard), Darren Roche (button accordion), Ted Kelly (tenor banjo/electric guitar) and Paddy Hazelton (percussion).
Their debut album ‘Planted’ was released in August 2014, and have become a festival favourite all over the world for their highly charged live performances. They have also provided music for the dance show: ‘Prodijig, The Revolution', which received critical acclaim and was extended due to demand. Moxie have announced a headline UK show this November.
