Paul Hollywood is one of the UK's most talented bakers, and is quickly becoming one of our favourite celebrity chefs too. Born in Wallasey, Cheshire in 1966, he began working in his father's bakery in his teens, where he picked up and honed his cooking skills. Going on to become one of the country's most highly-regarded bakers, working for big hotels and restaurants, he began writing books - and his profile soon sky-rocketed.

After his talent became clear, he began earning spots on celebrity cooking shows on BBC and ITV television shows, and later landed a spot judging The Great British Bakeoff.
