Pretenders are a British-American rock band based in Hereford, led by guitarist and vocalist Chrissie Hynde.
Formed in 1978, the band have put out 12 studio albums to date, with notable releases including their self-titled debut in 1979, 1986's ‘Get Close’—which contained the #1 single Don’t Get Me Wrong—and their most recent, 2023's 'Relentless'. Pretenders will embark on a North American tour in summer 2024 featuring headlining shows and guest appearances with Foo Fighters.
