Ride are an English shoegaze band from Oxford, consisting of Andy Bell, Laurence Colbert, Mark Gardener, and Steve Queralt.

Formed in 1988, the band released their debut album, ‘Nowhere’, which hit #11 in the UK Albums Chart. Their second album, ‘Going Blank Again’, came out in 1992, and performed even better, hitting #5 in the chart. Their third album, ‘Carnival of Light’, also hit #5, with their fourth album, ‘Tarantula’, being released in 1996 before the band split. The band reformed in 2014 for a world tour in 2015, which included three UK shows in May and a slot at Field Day Festival in June. ‘Weather Diaries’, came in June 2016 and was followed by 'Tomorrow's Shore', in February 2018 through Wichita Records.
