Rocket from the Crypt is an American rock band from San Diego, California, originally active from 1989 to 2005, then active during 2011 and again from 2013 to the present.
After the release of their debut 1992 album 'Circa: Now!', the band gained critical praise and attention from major record labels. They signed to Interscope Records. Their next two offerings, 'Scream, Dracula, Scream!' in 1995 and 'RFTC' in 1998, did no do as well as expected, and the band were dropped from the label.
After a period of inactivity in 1999 and 2000, Rocket From The Crypt signed to Vagrant Records and recruited new drummer Ruby Mars. They released two more albums, but were not as prolific as in the past, then disbanded in 2005.
Rocket from the Crypt reunited in October 2011 for an episode of the children's television show Yo Gabba Gabba!, remarking the band was "only interested in playing to audiences of 5 to 10 people between the ages of 3 to 6" and would "most likely never play as a band ever again".
They have just announced a full UK tour for 2017. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.
