Saint Etienne are an English indie dance pop band from London, consisting of Sarah Cracknell, Bob Stanley, and Pete Wiggs. Formed in 1990, Saint Etienne would release their debut album, 'Foxbase Alpha', in 1991, instantly becoming part of the UK's then-flourishing indie-dance scene.
Known for their tendency to mix their dance elements with influences from classic pop and a variety of other styles, Saint Etienne would embark on new musical paths with almost every new album they put out. Their second and third albums, 'So Tough' and 'Tiger Bay', would earn them spots in the UK Top 10.
Fast forward to today, and Saint Etienne are the proud owners of nine studio albums, including their most recent, 2017's 'Home Counties'. 2018 will see them travelling back in time to celebrate the 20th anniversary of 'Good Humour' with a North American tour, which will see them playing it in its entirety.

Rather than call their ninth studio album something glib like ‘Straight Outta Reigate’ or ‘…At Chelmsford Prison’ (after Pete Wiggs and Sarah Cracknell’s respective hometowns), Saint Etienne have decided to continue their classy pop output with ‘Home Counties’; their first album since 2012’s ‘Words and Music By…’ and by and large a collection as excellent as that was.
