Shopping is a British post-punk band from London, forming in 2012, and consisting of bass Billy Easter, drummer Andrew Milk, and guitarist Rachel Aggs.
Formed from ex-members of Trash Kit, and Wet Dog, the band released a 7 inch single shortly after forming, and self-released their debut album, ‘Consumer Complaints’. The band then signed to FatCat, and released their second album, ‘Why Choose’ in 2015.
Shopping's latest release, single The Hype, dropped in September 2017, and the band will play a cluster of small headline shows around the country this November to support it. Now, they're set to release 'The Official Body' on January 19, with a headline UK tour in February. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and ticket information on Stereoboard below.

The revolution may not be televised, but it'll be heavily soundtracked by bands like Shopping, who have managed to make defiance a dance-worthy pursuit with their third album, ‘The Official Body’.

The office. The bank. The government. “There is no ‘official body’, in any sense of the term, it’s just society has made it so that there is,” Shopping’s Billy Easter says. “And it’s not even like there’s this one person, we’ve ended up in this place where we somehow believe that there’s the correct way to do things, the correct way to look, or you have to go through the official channels and stuff. And it’s all just not real.”
