The Chicks—formerly known as The Dixie Chicks—are a country and pop-rock band from Dallas, Texas.

Formed in 1989, the band currently consists of frontwoman Natalie Maines alongside two of its founding members, multi-instrumentalists Emily Robison and Martie Maguire.

Their debut album, 'Thank Heavens for Dale Evans' hit shelves in 1990, and they have since gone on to release a further seven studio albums including, most recently, 'Gaslighter' in 2020.

The band have toured the world extensively and gained an enormous global following, picking up 13 Grammy Awards and a host of other high-profile honours.
