Formed in 2009, the band released their first EP, ‘Kitchen Songs’, in 2011, which was followed by their debut album, ‘Telephone’, in 2012. This led to them signing with Fat Possum Records and releasing their second album, ‘A Flourish and a Spoil’ in 2015. They followed up with 'Popular Manipulations' in 2017, before 'You Know I'm Not Going Anywhere' landed in 2020. The band have headlined plenty of their own shows and tours across the US and UK and have performed at festivals such as Glastonbury. The Districts have rescheduled their UK and Irish tour to May 2021 in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
