The Four Tops are an American vocal group hailing from Detroit, Michigan that formed back in 1953. One of Motown Records' biggest and most popular success, alongside fellow Detroit outfits The Miracles and The Temptations, the band held the incredible record of holding down the same line-up - Levi Stubbs, Abdul 'Duke' Fakir, Renaldo 'Obie' Benson and Lawrence Payton - from formation to 1997. Today. Fakir is the only original member, alongside Payton's son Lawrence Payton Jr., Ronnie McNeir, and Harold Bonhart.
The band, though one of the pioneering Motown outfits, also released music for Chess, Red Top, Columbia, Riverside, and ABC Downhill, selling millions of records worldwide and hitting the Top 30 in the US/UK Singles charts countless times in their career.
60 years down the line, and they're still performing on stage. The legendary Four Tops will hit the road in November 2017 for a series of UK arena shows alongside the Temptations. Catch the legendary bands live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.
