The Soft Moon is the moniker for Luis Vasquezan, an American 'neo-post-punk' musician hailing from Oakland, California, but currently based in Berlin. Formed in 2009, Vasquezan sings, writes the songs, plays all of the instruments, and produces the tracks too!
An experimental and eclectic artist, The Soft Moon's music touches on the wild genre of electronic body music (EBM), darkwave, synthpunk, and tons of other styles, creating a unique sound that you'll only ever hear on a Soft Moon record. Vasquez supported his latest LP, 2015's 'Deeper', with a European tour that included two UK shows in May.
In 2017, he released the single It Kills, taken from his upcoming new album 'Criminal', which is set for release on February 2 2018 through Sacred Bones.
the Soft Moon will be back on British shores for a one-off show in February 2018 as part of his European tour. Catch him live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.
