Tortured Soul is an American dance from Brooklyn, New York, consisting of vocalist and drummer John-Christian Urich, bass player Jordan Scannella and keyboard player Ethan White.
Formed in 2001, the band released their debut single, I Might Do Something Wrong, in 2001. They released their debut album, ‘Introducing Tortured Soul’, in 2006, followed by ‘Did You Miss Me’, in 2009. The band have headlined their own shows and tours in the USA and UK, and have played Montreal Jazz Festival, Bonnaroo in Tennessee, Fabric in London and shared the stage with the likes of Chaka Kahn, The Wailers, The Brand New Heavies, and Pharcyde.
