Trevor Powers is a neo-psychedelic-dream-pop musician based in Idaho.
Active under the moniker Young Lagoon from 2011, his debut album ‘The Year Of Hibernation’, was released the same year on Fat Possum Records. This was followed by a second album, ‘Wondrous Bughouse’ in 2013, and ‘Savage Hills Ballroom’, in September 2015.
In 2018, Powers ditched the Youth Lagoon moniker and released a brand new track under his own name, called Playwright. It comes ahead of a brand new album, 'Mulberry Violence', which arrive in August 2018 via his own label, Baby Halo.
He'll support the record's release with a headline show at London's Electrowerkz in October. Catch him live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.

As Youth Lagoon, Trevor Powers released three albums of neo-psychedelia embellished by indie flourishes and experimental Americana. Having shed that persona, the Idaho musician is back with ‘Mulberry Violence’, an album of distinctive colour and textuality that operates as a kind of soundscape-happening along the lines of Arca, Perfume Genius and - at a pinch - Anohni.
