William Control is the alias used by William Francis - frontman of post-hardcore outfit Aiden - for his electronic music project. Active from 2008 onwards, Francis produces a unique blend of darkwave and synthpop, and is joined by Kenneth Fletcher when performing live.
The project spawned it’s debut album ‘Hate Culture’ in 2008, after he signed a deal with Victory Records. This album was then followed-up with 2010’s ‘Noir’, which drew controversy for it’s artwork - which iTunes deemed inappropriate for young children. His third album, ‘Silentium Amoris’, hit shelves in 2012, followed by 'The Necromancer' in 2014. 2016 will see William Control returning with his next LP, as well as a UK tour in September - get tickets below!
