Alfie Boe is an English classical crossover singer hailing from Blackpool. One of the country’s leading classical/operatic singers, and one of the only remaining true tenors the country can boast today, he's been singing professionally since the eve of the millennium, and has come a long way over the past decade.
Kicking of his career after a client overheard him singing at the car factory in which he worked, he went on to perform with the Clint Boon experience as well as in his own right, also notching up stints on Broadway and in Les Miserables.
Though he began appearing on recordings as far back as 1999, the star first put out his own release in 2006, with ‘The Sound of Alfie Boe’. Though he's a talented and prolific studio force, on stage is where you really need to experience Alfie Boe.
He's not just prolific in the recording booth either, and is always out giving his fans the chance to capture his incredible voice in person, and having toured throughout 2013, he returned to arenas in December 2014 too, supporting 'Serenata'.
In 2016, Boe released an album 'Together', with Michael Ball, which they followed in 2017 with 'Together Again', another collaborative album. The duo toured this throughout 2017.
With various shows taking place throughout 2018 including heritage Live, Armed Forces Day and the Kelvingrove Bandstand, Alfie Boe has now announced An Evening With UK tour for next spring. Catch him live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.
A surprise 60th birthday treat from my daughter. Alfie's warm and modest personality came across so easily, it was like listening to him in your own front room. He can sing any type of song from opera to pop with that stunning voice and his humour made it all feel so cosy along with his cheeky smile and sexy swinging hips to stir things up! The Osole Mio guys got the show off to a great start with their laughter and beautiful voices. Alfie is a one off and my daughter was so impressed she has now become a fan and we're off to see him back in Scarborough next year. Alfie - you were wonderful xxx
