Arab Strap are an indie-rock band from Falkirk, consisting of vocalist Aidan Moffat and multi-instrumentalist Malcolm Middleton.
They released their debut album ‘The Week Never Starts Round Here’ in 1996, putting out a further five records and amassing a cult following before their split in 2006. The band reunited for a show as part of Glasgow venue Nice N Sleazy's 20th birthday celebrations in 2011, before reforming again officially in 2016. In 2021, they released their first album in 16 years, in the shape of 'As Days Get Dark'. Arab Strap have announced a short run of Irish shows for July 2022, before headlining shows in London, Leeds and Aberdeen the following month.
