Blonde Redhead is an American alternative rock band from New York City, New York, consisting of frontwoman Kazu Makino on vocals and guitar alongside, twin brothers Amedeo on lead guitar and drummer Simeone Pace.

Formed in 1993, the band have released nine albums across their career, including their self-titled debut album in 1995, ‘Fake Can Be Just as Good’, released in 1997, which was their first for Touch and Go Records, ‘Misery Is a Butterfly’, which was their debut for 4AD in 2004 and their latest album, ‘Barragán’, which came out in 2014 via Kobalt Music Group.
