Charley Crockett is a blues singer and guitarist from the deep south of Texas whose sound blends his heritage of both contemporary and traditional music.
His early years were spent between Texas and Louisiana, raised by a blues singing single mother in Dallas, and an uncle who introduced him to the big brass sound of the French Quarter in New Orleans where he would later learn how to play guitar as a street performer. In 2009, Crockett showed up in New York City, where he made a living captivating subway car audiences for several years before being discovered and offered a record deal as part of the street group Trainrobbers. Deciding to take his chances in a rapidly changing music industry, Charley declined the offer and headed west to California instead.
Crockett returned home to Texas and released his debut solo album, 'A Stolen Jewel' in 2015, receiving critical acclaim and ultimately landing him a Dallas Observer Music Award that year for Best Blues Act. He released his sophomore record 'In The Night', in 2016 and played over 125 shows that year - landing him international recognition and many festival shows.
Following that came 'Lil G.L.'s Honky Tonk Jubilee' in 2017, and 'Lonesome As A Shadow' in April 2018. He'll support his latest record with a string of tour dates across the UK, Europe and the US. Catch him live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.
