Charlie Brooker is a humourist, critic, author, screenwriter, producer, and presenter, best known for being the creator of the hit anthology series Black Mirror.
After growing up in Oxfordshire, Brooker went to London for a Media Studies degree, going on to write reviews and comic strips for various publications, then becoming a regular columnist for the Guardian.
In addition, Brooker has written for various other programmes including Brass Eye, The 11 O'Clock Show, Nathan Barley, and presented Screenwipe, Gameswipe, Newswipe, Weekly Wipe, and 10 O'Clock Live. He also wrote a five-part horror drama called Dead Set and is one of four creative directors of the production company Zeppotron.
