London-based punk legends Cockney Rejects are some of the most celebrated (yet less commercially successful) that the punk scene of Britain’s past delivered. Pioneering the genres of street punk and ‘Oi! Music’, the timeless band have yet to give into their years of performing and recording, and, despite countless line-up changes, they’re still around today.
Loyal West Ham fans, they’re famous for their cover of ‘We’re Forever Blowing Bubbles’, as well as ‘Oi oi oi’ - the track which gave birth to the Oi! genre. 2012 saw the band release their film ‘East End Babylon’, which tells the ‘true’ story of the band in its entirety. To mark its release, the band are touring this October - if you’re a fan of punk, a Cockney Rejects gig is for you.
