Attention Thieves, the latest alternative-rock export from Reading, England, have today released their debut single ‘Broken Promise’.
Formed in 2009, the band is a brand new project for Alex Green formerly of the Arusha Accord. Recorded alongside Adam Whittaker, who has previously worked with the likes of Kate Nash, Mark Ronson and Julian Cope, the single was released today ready to unleash its raw and honest sound upon the ears of the world.
More than just your generic rock band, Attention Thieves bring post-hardcore, progressive and punk elements to their sound but at the same time their tracks exude a pop immediacy that could launch them straight into the mainstream limelight.
Following today’s release of the single, a European tour announcement is said to be imminent for the band who will appeal to those rock fans schooled on the likes of The Police, Foo Fighters or Glassjaw.
Already a huge hit with music fans, their material is currently being played by SKY television, using several tracks for a forthcoming sports show. Interested in what Attention Thieves have got to offer? Check out an exclusive clip of their new single ‘Broken Promise’ below.
