Beth Orton Confirms Four Low-Key UK Shows & Tickets

Beth Orton has announced her first UK tour in four years, with the singer-songwriter playing four shows in December.

Blending slow, dreamy songs with trip-hop breaks, folky guitar and haunting vocals, Beth Orton was first noticed by producer guru William Orbit when she sang on his 'Strange Cargo' albums. She has effortlessly brought her Neil Young, Joni Mitchell 70s folk influence through to the noughties.

Beth Orton plans to release a new album in 2011. It has been five years since her last album 'Comfort of Strangers' and her most recent trip to the recording studio was for as part of the recent Beatles 'Let It Be' tribute album.

To date Beth Orton has confirmed four low-key shows in Holmfirth, Leamington Spa, Portsmouth and Brighton. Gigs at some bigger venues are yet to be announced. Full details of Beth Orton's tour dates are below.
