Apparently not everything with Take That is as perfect as some may think. Jason Orange has spoken in an interview about his disappointment in the fact that the recent reunion with ex-bandmate Robbie Williams was captured on film.
The documentary, which is said to have been instigated by Gary Barlow, followed the band during their initial reunion as well as over the course of their writing and recording the latest Take That album. In an interview with a British magazine, Orange announced: "I wanted to enjoy Rob. I wanted to enjoy the reunion privately. I didn't want me or any of us to be acting differently when there's cameras on. I didn't want it to be captured on cameras. But it was. Gutted."
The singer has also recently shed light on William’s position in the band just before the split in 1996: "He was the kid in the band and maybe I bullied him in some ways, not overtly but covertly. He took exception and rightly so. We had a lot of tensions going on and it's easy in a group for one person to become the scapegoat. I think we did that to a large extent with Rob."
The documentary, entitled ‘Take That: Look Back, Don’t Stare’ will be premiered at London's BFI Imax cinema on Wednesday (November 10th). Viewers will also get the chance to watch it on ITV1 this Saturday (November 13th) at 9.30pm. The documentary will be a part of a very special weekend of entertainment for ITV, as Take That, Westlife and JLS are all due to take to the X Factor stage on Sunday in a special edition of the show.
Take That are on tour in 2011.
