The Streets have announced the release details for their new album, entitled ‘Computers And Blues’. Speculation was kicked off last week when a countdown timer appeared on the band’s website. The timer is due to finish on February 7th next year, a date which has since been confirmed by Mike Skinner as the release date for the next record.
Skinner has previously revealed that the next release will be his last under the name ‘The Streets’, claiming that he will move on to other projects after its release. Not much is known about the album, which is the follow-up to the band’s 2008 release, ‘Everything Is Borrowed’, however Skinner has announced that the record will be “ravey” and “a banger”.
The Streets have revealed the full tracklisting for ‘Computers And Blues’, as well as announcing that that they will tour the UK in support of the album next year.
The tracklisting for 'Computers And Blues' will be:
'Outside Inside'
'Going Through Hell'
'Roof Of Your Car'
'Puzzled By People'
'Without A Blink'
'Blip On A Screen'
'Those That Don't Know'
'Soldiers'
'We Can Never Be Friends'
'ABC'
'OMG'
'Trying To Kill M.E.'
'Trust Me'
'Lock The Locks'
Although no tracks from the record have been (officially) previewed at present, the band released this brooding studio footage as a teaser last month:
