The Streets have announced a warm-up show in London prior to their UK and European tour this summer.
Mike Skinner and Co will perform their landmark album, 2004's 'A Grand Don’t Come For Free', in its entirety at the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire on June 5 ahead of taking the record on the road.
Their summer schedule includes stops across Europe, as well as at Bristol Sounds on June 25 and 27, Dreamland on June 26 for the Margate Summer Series, Manchester's Castlefield Bowl on July 10 and 11 for Sounds Of The City, London's Alexandra Palace Park on July 16, Live at Ludlow Castle on July 23, Kirkstall Abbey in Leeds on July 24, Cardiff Castle for Depot Live on July 31, Audley End Estate in Essex on August 7 for Heritage Live, Earlham Park in Norwich on August 21 for the Rock N Roll Circus series, and a headline set at The Big Feastival.
They'll also return to familiar ground with three homecoming shows at the O2 Academy Birmingham on June 6, July 17 and August 22.
Tickets for their new London show go on general sale at 10am on Friday (April 17). Their summer dates are on sale now.
The band's latest album is 2023's 'The Darker The Shadow, The Brighter The Light', which has a companion film currently streaming on YouTube. In 2024, Skinner dropped a remixed edition of 'Fabric Presents The Streets', which included the singles End Of The Queue and No Better Than Chance.
Last September, The Streets released the single Utopia, which followed their earlier tracks How To Win At Rock Paper Scissors, You Think You've Been Buriedand, and Brave St Andrew, which was written for the Amazon Prime Video documentary Built In Birmingham: Brady and the Blues.
