Taylor Swift And Miranda Lambert To Perform At ACM Awards

Taylor Swift and Miranda Lambert have both been confirmed as performers at this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards. The pair will join the likes of Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean and Toby Keith, all of whom are set to perform at the ceremony in Las Vegas next month.

All six artists have been given nods in the ‘Entertainer of the Year’ category, an award where the winner is chosen exclusively by the fans. Voting for the award will close during the ceremony.

As well as performing at the coveted country music event, Lambert has also picked up seven nominations for the evening. The singer has been recognised in categories including ‘Single Record Of The Year’ and ‘Single Of The Year’ for her hit ‘The House That Built Me’. Lambert walked away with an impressive three trophies last year, winning in the ‘Top Female Vocalist’, ‘Album of the Year’ and ‘Video of the Year’ categories.

After an incredible year in terms of sales, Taylor Swift has managed to pick up four nominations, including a nod in the ‘Album Of The Year’ category for ‘Speak Now’.

The Academy Of Country Music Awards will be broadcast on Sunday, April 3rd from 8pm on American network CBS.
