Robbie Williams Set To Launch Clothing Line?

Robbie Williams is set to join the likes of Jay-Z and Liam Gallagher by releasing his own clothing line, according to reports. An article in The Sun has claimed that the Take That star could reignite his feud with Liam Gallagher by creating a rival to the ex-Oasis man’s clothing label ‘Pretty Green’.

The ‘Angels’ star, who is currently on Take That’s record-breaking UK arena tour, is supposedly set to launch ‘Farrell’ later this year, a label named after his grandfather. Although little is known about the collection at present, early reports have stated that the collection will include three-quarter-length mod coats, t-shirts, flat caps and polka-dot scarves.

A source (supposedly) close to the singer said: "Robbie's aim was to create a collection with a heritage feel combined with a modern style."

There is no telling how the range will do, but if Gallagher’s fortunes are anything to go by then the decision may well be a sound investment for Willaims. The Beady Eye singer launched his label in 2009 and currently owns four stores – One in Manchester, Glasgow and two in London.

If Williams’ plans are to be taken as fact, the rivalry will be nothing new for Liam Gallagher. The ex-Oasis singer has been vocal in his dislike for rapper Jay-Z’s Rocawear range, saying: “You're going to be fucking arrested wearing his gear and you're going to pull a really nice-looking bird wearing mine.”
