Jessie J has spoken out this week about the tabloid press, criticising journalists for fabricating stories about her. The London-born singer has been the topic of various stories in the red tops recently, where there have been reports of her being involved in a plane crash, her being admitted to hospital and her being pregnant all in the course of one week.
The ‘Do It Like A Dude’ star vented her frustration on Twitter, where she said: "I have had a tough weak according to the press. Ive been in a plane crash, im having a baby and now im in hospital after an accident in rehearsals.”
The singer continued, calling out journalists for their “Bullsh*t”. She said: “Can I smell Bulls*it? Can I smell rumors? Can I smell lies? Can I smell get a job and stop making stuff up? Coz it #STANKS :)"
Jessie J has had a steep rise to fame over the past six months, however her ascent into the heights of the pop chart was by no means flawless. The singer hit out at a Dublin audience recently for being so drunk that she was worried for their safety. She has also had many stories written about her poor health as a child and her bisexuality.
Jessie J recently announced plans for a twelve date UK tour. She will start the jaunt in Birmingham on October 17th, performing in cities including Manchester and Edinburgh before finishing the tour in London on November 1st.
