Brandon Flowers Announces Support for This Week’s Final Eden Session

The Killers’ Brandon Flowers has confirmed that local band Crowns will join him as support for his solo performance at Cornwall’s Eden Sessions on Tuesday 12th July. Crowns, from nearby Launceston, will open the evening’s entertainment on the festival’s Main Stage ahead of main support act the Mystery Jets. Brandon Flowers’ Eden Sessions show is the last of the five dates that have made up this year’s event, which has already seen performances by Primal Scream, Pendulum, Flaming Lips and Fleet Foxes.
Crowns will open the stage at 19.05 before Mystery Jets’ slot at 20.15. Brandon Flowers will then headline at 21.45. Earlier in the day, Robyn Hitchcock will curate an afternoon of folk music on the Biotik Stage inside the Eden Project’s Mediterranean Biome. The stage will include performances from Martyn Carthy, Scritti Politti’s Green Gartside and Mercury-nominated Kathryn Williams.
Last year, Brandon Flowers released his debut solo album ‘Flamingos’, which reached Number One in the UK albums chart. He recently returned to performing with The Killers at Hyde Park’s Hard Rock Calling festival in June, where the band played a new track entitled ‘The Rising Tide’. They are currently working on their fourth album, the follow-up to 2008’s ‘Day & Age’.
