Westival To Hit Aldershot This Weekend - 22nd-23rd July

The West End Centre has long been one of the best loved venues in the South East and this weekend sees the venue transformed into the site for what may well be the best waterproof festival in the UK.
Taking place on the evening of Friday 22nd and across the afternoon and evening of Saturday 23rd July, Westival sees some of the UK’s finest up and coming bands turn up in Aldershot to play across two stages.
Headliners on Friday night are Glaswegian ‘fight pop’ upstarts Dananananaykroyd. Their main support comes from arguably the finest band in Britain at the moment, The Xcerts (pictured), as well as the likes of Hold Your Horse Is and Our Lost Infantry. Saturday headliners are math pop bunch Johnny Foreigner who are joined by local heroes Freeze The Atlantic. Featuring ex-members of Reuben and Andy Gilmour of Hundred Reasons, Freeze The Atlantic are sure to be one of the highlights of the festival. Other Saturday highlights include daring prog rock act Knifeworld and rising stars of the British indie folk scene, Ellen and the Escapades.
With some of the UK’s best underground music, arts and crafts, fancy dress and 100% genuine indoor grass, Westival is set to be a great couple of days and with tickets available for as little as £14 for the entire weekend (£10 concessions), it would be a shame to miss out.
