Kings Of Leon’s Caleb Followill Urged To Enter Rehab?

Kings of Leon singer and guitarist Caleb Followill has been urged to enter rehab to tackle his current drinking issues, if reports are to be believed. The band recently cancelled an extensive string of dates on their US tour, with 28 dates effected including two previously rescheduled appearances.
Directly after the cancellation, the band offered an official statement which read: "We are so sorry to say Kings of Leon are cancelling their entire US tour due to Caleb Followill suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion."
However, several sources including US Weekly have now claimed that the remaining band members are concerned about Caleb’s ‘out of control’ drinking habits, chosing to encourage the singer to enter rehab in order to get the band back on the road. The US magazine quote a source as saying: "Caleb's drinking is out of control and they are trying to get him into rehab. It's a dark demon he has been fighting for a while."
Speaking on his Twitter account, drummer Nathan Followill was keen to assert that a band break-up was not on the cards. He said: “Bummed about the tour not happening. So sorry 4 all the fans. We just need some rest. Thanks 4 understanding. WE ARE NOT BREAKING UP!”
Kings of Leon are currently scheduled to resume tour dates in Canada at Vancouver Rogers Center on September 28th.
