The Streets. Example, Professor Green & More Confirmed For The Big Reunion 2011

The UK’s biggest indoor winter music event,The Big Reunion is back for 2011 with one of their biggest line ups to date offering festival goers one of the last ever chances to catch The Streets before their imminent retirement. Hosted over two weekends 18th - 20th November and 25th - 27th November, in Butlins, Skegness, The Big Reunion returns for its eleventh year.

British rap/garage project band, The Streets is set to play an extraordinary mix of original garage and rap and perform hits from chart favourite albums, ‘Original Pirate Material’ and ‘A Grand Don’t Come For Free’. Fronted by the charismatic unofficial poet laureate of geezer-rap, Mike Skinner, The Streets will bid farewell to everyone in front of a fired up crowd at The Big Reunion in anticipation of one of their last ever gigs.

The Big Reunion presents a mixture of world class promoters such as TwiceasNice, Trinity, Judgement, Clubland and more across six arenas over two weekends, hosting over 15,000 people. Both weekends promise to feature an ecelectic mix of music with a mash up of dance, rock and rave with a star studded line up featuring the likes of Example + DJ Wire, Kissy Sell Out & MC Cobra, Judge Jules, Devlin and Professor Green amongst others in addition to The Streets. Eleven years old and still going strong, 2011 will prove The Big Reunion is still a highlight of the winter music festival season and THE must-attend bash of the winter calendar!

Headlining the Judgement arena over both weekends will be electro rapper Example, who is set to blow party goers away with his ‘dysfunctional electro’ pop beats and perform his massive hits ‘Changed the Way You Kiss Me’, ‘Watch The Sun Come Up’, and ‘Love Kickstarts Again’. Judge Jules, the almighty godfather of the trance world and the always energetic DJ, Kissy Sell Out will also join the ranks on stage to spin their sublime beats.

UK grime MC artist, Devlin is confirmed to headline the TwiceasNice arena on Weekend One. One of the hottest names to have risen from the underground grime scene in East London, will be sure to fire out his relentless gritty tracks to the excited party lovers at The Big Reunion this November. Devlin’s fans will be thrilled to hear that Yasmin, whom he collaborated with on chart hit ‘Runaway’, will headline The Big Stage.

Weekend Two held 25th November to 27th November, boasts the same line up as Weekend One but with crowd pleaser, Professor Green to land the headline spot on the TwiceasNice stage. The streetwise British rap star, Professor Green who is fast-tracking his way to success with his reedy, indignant whine - drawing comparison to an East London version of Eminem. He’s set to perform a storming and sensational set to wow all!
