With her new album in UK stores today, Melanie C has announced her first full UK concerts in three years.
Born in Liverpool, Melanie Chisholm, AKA Mel C, hit the public eye as one fifth of the girl power group Spice Girls. Following the split of the Spice Girls, the girls decided to go their own way and Sporty Spice became the indie rocker that we now know as Melanie C.
Mel C's top-selling album 'Northern Star' turned preconceptions about her on their head and she has continued to match her energetic solo performances with a strong songwriting ability. Her fifth studio album, 'The Sea', is released today as well as the announcement of two UK shows.

December 2011
Dec 4th - O2 Academy, Liverpool
Dec 9th - Scala, London
