The Kings of Leon were almost forced to re-schedule shows in Australia – and drummer Nathan Followill has taken to Twitter to make sure people knew that it was Qantas who ‘fucked up’ their plans.
The band were due to fly out today in time for the gigs next week , but the airline company is currently embroiled in arguments between Union bosses and it’s managers – causing it’s flights to be grounded for the entire of yesterday and today.
So Nathan, who was actually the cause of these Aussie shows being re-scheduled to this month after breaking his arm earlier in the year, quickly made a post on Twitter revealed that the band would be taking a three-stop diverted flight to make sure their fans don’t miss out again.
The percussionist tweeted: “Dear Qantas, u suck, thanks 4 fucking up my trip 2 Oz. Joberg-Dubai-Sydney. 24 hours in the air. That's how much I love Oz. The silver lining is that we are throwing one hell of a halloween party on the plane. I'm going as the drunk guy in seat 5a.”
