Survivor Making "A Solid Move" To Reunite With Former Frontman Jimi Jamison

American classic rockers Survivor look set to be reuniting with their former vocalist and frontman Jimi Jamison.

There has been no official confirmation on the reunion yet but it's looking ever-increasingly likely that Jamison will rejoin in time to hit the road with the band on their forthcoming European tour in Summer 2012.

Speaking to Melodic Rock, Survivor guitarist Frankie Sullivan revealed that the reunion was “a solid move” and “a step in the right direction” to get Jamison back in the band to, as Frankie says, “go out and play the hits”.

Founding member Jim Peterik is apparently not involved in the reunion and there are no plans to record new material. Hopefully that could change once Jimi settles back in!
